No stretch, so fit by the numbers
The supplier lists these as non-stretch, which makes the measurements decisive — nothing gives once you have them on. The waist runs 28.3" at S to 34.6" at XL, with the hip from 40.2" to 45.7".
Fit the hip first and take the larger size if you're between two. Rigid denim can't be talked into a hip that doesn't fit.
Print on the bottom half is the harder choice
Most people put pattern on top and keep the legs plain, because it's safer. Reversing it is more interesting and, in a wide leg, more effective — there's more surface area for the print to live on, and the movement of the fabric makes the pattern move too.
The trade-off is that the rest of the outfit has to get out of the way. A plain top in one of the print's colors is the whole styling brief.
