Denim & Jeans

Denim is sized by waist. Many of the brands we carry — including Judy Blue, RISEN and KanCan — label sizes as a number followed by the waist measurement, for example 7(28).

Tummy-control denim: Styles with a tummy-control waistband run more generous than standard denim. If you are between sizes in these, size down — the compression panel adds structure and takes up the extra room.

How to Measure

Use a soft tape measure over your underwear, not over clothing. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight enough to compress.

Bust — measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level across your back.
Waist — measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the belly button. Don't hold your breath.
Hip — stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
Inseam — measure from the top of your inner thigh down to where you want the hem to fall, in the shoes you plan to wear.

Still Between Sizes?

If you land between two sizes, the fabric decides it:

Woven, non-stretch (most shirts, blazers, structured dresses) — size up.
Heavy stretch (leggings, ponte, tummy-control denim) — size down.
Oversized or relaxed styles — take your usual size; the extra room is already built in.

The FAITH OVER FEAR hoodie is a dropped-shoulder pullover with the slogan printed across the chest, available in pink, tan and dark brown in sizes S to 2XL. It is the kind of piece that gets worn two or three times a week rather than saved for anything, which is exactly what it is built for.

How the FAITH OVER FEAR hoodie fits

The dropped shoulder seam sits below the shoulder bone rather than on it, so the fit is relaxed through the chest and upper arm with no pull when you raise your arms. If you want the oversized look in the photos, take your usual size. If you would rather it sat closer, size down one — the body has enough room to take it. Between sizes, go up: this is a soft knit with no stretch panel, and the larger size drapes better than the smaller one strains.

Fabric, pocket and care

Brushed fleece-backed knit — soft on the inside, smooth on the face, and warm enough for a cold morning without being heavy indoors. There is a full kangaroo pocket across the front, deep enough for a phone and keys rather than decorative. Machine wash cold and tumble dry low; the print is set into the fabric and will not crack from normal washing.

What to wear it with

It sits over leggings and trainers for the school run, and the dark brown works under a denim jacket in autumn. The dropped shoulder means it layers over a long-sleeve tee without bunching at the armhole.
