Use the charts below to find your size. All measurements are body measurements, not garment measurements — measure yourself and match to the closest size.

Please note: Fit varies by cut, fabric and stretch, even within the same size. Where a product page lists its own measurements or a fit note, always follow those first. If you are between sizes, size up in woven fabrics and size down in heavy stretch.

Denim & Jeans

Denim is sized by waist. Many of the brands we carry — including Judy Blue, RISEN and KanCan — label sizes as a number followed by the waist measurement, for example 7(28).

Tummy-control denim: Styles with a tummy-control waistband run more generous than standard denim. If you are between sizes in these, size down — the compression panel adds structure and takes up the extra room.

How to Measure

Use a soft tape measure over your underwear, not over clothing. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight enough to compress.

  1. Bust — measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level across your back.
  2. Waist — measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the belly button. Don't hold your breath.
  3. Hip — stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
  4. Inseam — measure from the top of your inner thigh down to where you want the hem to fall, in the shoes you plan to wear.

Still Between Sizes?

If you land between two sizes, the fabric decides it:

  • Woven, non-stretch (most shirts, blazers, structured dresses) — size up.
  • Heavy stretch (leggings, ponte, tummy-control denim) — size down.
  • Oversized or relaxed styles — take your usual size; the extra room is already built in.

Still not sure? Email info@easthillscasuals.com with the item and your measurements and we'll tell you which size to order. Returns are free and easy for 30 days, so it's fine to order two sizes and send one back.

A white sweatshirt with color-blocked raglan sleeves — the sleeve seam runs diagonally from the neckline to the underarm instead of sitting on the shoulder, which is what lets the color change happen along a line rather than at a hard edge.

Why raglan sleeves are worth choosing

A set-in sleeve has a seam that sits on top of your shoulder, and that seam has to land in exactly the right place to look right. A raglan has no shoulder seam at all — the sleeve runs up to the collar in one piece. It moves more freely, it fits a wider range of shoulder widths, and it's the reason baseball shirts have been cut this way for a century.

Color-blocking it makes the geometry visible: the diagonal seam becomes a design line rather than just construction.

The details

  • Raglan sleeve construction — no shoulder seam, more range of movement.
  • Color-blocked sleeves against a white body.
  • Slight stretch from the spandex in the blend.
  • Relaxed through the body, long enough to sit at the hip.
  • Sizes M through 2XL.

How to wear it

  • With straight jeans and sneakers, sleeves pushed to the elbow.
  • Over leggings, half-tucked at the front.
  • With a pleated skirt, for the sporty-plus-feminine contrast.

Details and care

  • Features: Basic style
  • Stretch: Slightly stretchy
  • Material composition: 95% polyester, 5% spandex
  • Care instructions: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.
  • Imported

Good to know

Will the white stay white? Wash it with whites and always cold. The color-blocked panels are the risk on the first couple of washes, so give it a separate wash to start.

Do raglan sleeves fit differently? They're more forgiving through the shoulder than a standard sleeve, which is the main practical reason to pick one.

Is it warm? A mid-weight sweatshirt — fine on its own in spring and fall, a layer underneath in winter.
