Wide-leg jeans built from two different denim washes, blocked against each other down the leg. It's a single pair of jeans that looks like two, and it's the reason these do the work of a whole outfit on their own.
Fit these carefully — there is no stretch
The supplier lists these as non-stretch. That makes the measurements matter more than usual, because nothing will give once you put them on.
There's also a gap between the label and the garment. The sizes are marked S (26), M (28), L (30), XL (32) — but the actual measured waists are 28", 29.9", 32.3" and 35", two to three inches larger than the number on the tag. So the S is not a 26-inch waist; it's a 28.
Go by the chart below and ignore the bracketed numbers entirely.
Why two-tone denim reads the way it does
Color-blocking a jean puts a hard vertical line where denim normally has none. Your eye follows that line, which is why two-tone pairs look longer and more deliberate than a solid wash in the same cut. It also nods to patchwork and reworked denim — the look of something made rather than bought.
The practical consequence: everything else you wear with them should be plain.

Before you order
Why doesn't the label match the waist? The bracketed numbers are a nominal jean size, not the measured garment. Trust the chart.
Non-stretch with 5% elastane? That's how the supplier lists it. Treat them as rigid when choosing a size — the elastane is for recovery, not give.
How should I wash two-tone denim? Cold, inside out, and separately for the first few washes. Two washes in one garment means the darker panel can bleed onto the lighter one.
