Tummy-control denim: Styles with a tummy-control waistband run more generous than standard denim. If you are between sizes in these, size down — the compression panel adds structure and takes up the extra room.

How to Measure

Use a soft tape measure over your underwear, not over clothing. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight enough to compress.

Bust — measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level across your back.
Waist — measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the belly button. Don't hold your breath.
Hip — stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
Inseam — measure from the top of your inner thigh down to where you want the hem to fall, in the shoes you plan to wear.

Still Between Sizes?

If you land between two sizes, the fabric decides it:

Woven, non-stretch (most shirts, blazers, structured dresses) — size up.
Heavy stretch (leggings, ponte, tummy-control denim) — size down.
Oversized or relaxed styles — take your usual size; the extra room is already built in.

A biker shorts and tank top set in seamless ribbed knit, in grey, cinnamon, rosy, Malibu blue, fuchsia and coral, in sizes S to XL. Seamless is not a marketing word here — the set is knitted as a tube rather than cut and stitched, so there are no side seams to rub on a run and nothing to dig in when you sit into a squat.

How the biker shorts and tank top set fits

Close-fitting by design, as activewear needs to be. The ribbing gives two-way stretch, which is why one size covers more range than a woven would. Take your usual size — the set should feel snug but let you move through a full range of motion; if it restricts at the shoulder or the hip, it is too small rather than correctly tight.

Fabric, opacity and care

93% nylon, 7% spandex. Nylon is the right fibre for this: it wicks, it dries faster than cotton, and it holds recovery through repeated wear. Ribbed knit is thicker than a flat jersey, which is what makes the shorts opaque when you bend — the usual failure point in a light-coloured legging. Wash cold and line dry; fabric softener coats the fibres and kills the wicking.
