A cable-knit pullover with a contrast collar — the fitted one, not the slouchy one. Where most cable knits are cut oversized, this is knit close to the body with real stretch in the yarn, so it holds a shape instead of hiding one.
What makes it different
- It's genuinely stretchy. Not "slightly" — the knit gives and springs back, which is why it can be cut this close without feeling restrictive.
- Contrast collar. The neckline is knit in a second color, so it reads as a finished detail rather than a plain crew.
- Cable texture throughout. The classic rope pattern, which catches light and gives a solid color something to do.
- Shorter body. 21.3" at a small — it sits at or just below the waistband, so it works tucked, untucked, or with high-waisted anything.
Fabric and fit
100% polyester. That's what makes the stretch and the recovery possible, and it means you can machine wash it without the shrinking or pilling you'd worry about with a wool cable knit.
Read the chart before you order this one. It's cut fitted and the range stops at L: bust measures 30.7" at a small, 32.3" at a medium, and 34.6" at a large — those are the flat, unstretched numbers. The fabric stretches comfortably past them, but if your bust measurement is well above 36", this particular sweater is going to feel tight rather than fitted, and one of our relaxed-fit knits would serve you better.
How to wear it
- Tucked into high-waisted wide-leg trousers — the fitted top balances the volume below.
- With a straight midi skirt and ankle boots.
- Under a blazer, where a bulky sweater wouldn't fit.
- With straight jeans and a longer coat.

Before you order
Does it really run small? It runs fitted — which is the intent, not a flaw. The numbers above are measured flat with no stretch applied, so the sweater wears larger than it measures. Still, if you prefer room in a sweater, size up or choose a relaxed-fit style instead.
Is it itchy? No. It's polyester, not wool — smooth against the skin, no scratch.
Can it go in the washer and dryer? Yes — cold wash, tumble dry low. Low heat keeps the stretch intact.
Is it warm? The cable texture adds some density, but it's a lighter knit than a wool cable. Good for fall, spring, and indoors in winter; layer it under a coat when it's cold out.
