A polka dot sweatshirt with dropped shoulders, in caramel or blush pink. Two soft, warm colors rather than the usual grey marl — which is most of why this doesn't look like a gym sweatshirt.
It is properly oversized
The bust measures 48.2" on the small and 56.1" on the extra large, with a body length of 26.8" to 29.1". A standard sweatshirt in a small sits closer to 40", so this is a big, slouchy garment at every size.
Take your usual size for the intended look. Sizing up adds width, not length — and there is already a great deal of width.
Polka dots on a sweatshirt
Sweatshirts are almost always plain, because the shape is casual enough that most people don't add to it. A dot pattern changes the register: it borrows something from a blouse and puts it on a garment cut for comfort, so the result works with jeans on a Saturday and doesn't look out of place at a school pickup or a coffee meeting.
Caramel and blush do the rest. Both are warm neutrals, so the dots read as a pattern rather than as novelty.

Good to know
Should I size down? Only if you want it merely relaxed. The oversized fit is the design.
Do caramel and blush show marks? Both are light enough to notice a spill. Cold wash and quick treatment handles it.
Is it warm? A mid-weight sweatshirt — on its own in spring and fall, under a coat in winter.
