A star-patterned pullover with a dropped shoulder — relaxed through the body, soft to the touch, and easy enough to reach for on a weekday without thinking about it. The star motif is knit into the fabric rather than printed on top, so it won't crack or fade with washing.
What makes it work
- Dropped shoulder. The shoulder seam measures 21.3" at a small, which puts it well down the arm — that's the source of the loose, unstructured line.
- Relaxed through the bust. 40.9" at a small. Room is built in; you shouldn't need to size up.
- Real stretch. The knit gives noticeably rather than holding rigid, which keeps a slouchy sweater from feeling heavy.
- A pattern that stays a pattern. Knit-in stars, not a print — no peeling, no fading at the wash line.
Fabric and fit
100% polyester. No wool, so nothing itches and nothing needs hand-washing — cold wash, tumble dry low, and it comes out the same shape it went in. Polyester also holds the stitch definition in the star pattern, which is what keeps the motif crisp instead of going fuzzy after a few wears.
Body length runs 23.6" at a small to 24.6" at a large — hip length on most people, long enough to wear untucked over leggings.
How to wear it
- With straight-leg jeans and sneakers — the default.
- Over leggings, untucked, with tall boots.
- Front-tucked into high-waisted denim so the dropped shoulder stays the focus.
- Layered over a collared shirt with the collar out.

Questions we get
Should I size up for the oversized look? It's already cut relaxed — a small measures nearly 41" across the bust. Only size up if you want it noticeably slouchy.
Why are the sleeves shorter than I'd expect? Sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam, and on a dropped-shoulder sweater that seam already sits partway down your arm. The total reach is longer than the 20.5" number suggests.
Is it warm? A medium-weight knit — comfortable on its own through fall and spring, and a good layer under a coat in winter.
Will the stars fade? No. They're knit into the fabric, not printed onto it.
